# Creating Your Account

> Step-by-step guide to creating and setting up your Flowbotic account

# Creating Your Account

Getting started with Flowbotic is easy. This guide will walk you through the process of creating your account, verifying your email, and setting up your initial preferences.

## Registration Process

Follow these steps to create your Flowbotic account:

1. **Visit the Sign-up Page**
   * Navigate to [app.flowbotic.com/signup](https://app.flowbotic.com/signup)
   * Click the "Sign Up" button in the top-right corner

2. **Enter Account Information**
   * Fill in the required fields:
     * Full Name
     * Email Address
     * Password (must be at least 8 characters with a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols)
     * Company Name (optional)
   * Check the box to agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

3. **Complete Registration**
   * Click the "Create Account" button
   * You'll see a confirmation screen indicating that a verification email has been sent

  For enhanced security, we recommend using a strong, unique password that you don't use for other services.

## Email Verification

After registration, you'll need to verify your email address:

1. **Check Your Email**
   * Look for an email from Flowbotic with the subject "Verify Your Email Address"
   * If you don't see it in your inbox, check your spam or junk folder

2. **Verify Your Email**
   * Open the email and click the "Verify Email Address" button
   * You'll be redirected to the Flowbotic platform with a confirmation message

3. **First Login**
   * Once verified, you'll be prompted to log in with your credentials
   * Enter your email and password to access your account

## Setting Initial Preferences

Upon your first login, you'll be guided through setting up your initial preferences:

1. **Welcome Tour**
   * A brief tour will introduce you to the key features of the platform
   * You can skip this tour by clicking "Skip Tour" if you prefer to explore on your own

2. **Profile Completion**
   * Add a profile picture by clicking the avatar icon and selecting "Upload Photo"
   * Complete additional profile details such as:
     * Job Title
     * Phone Number (optional)
     * Time Zone

3. **Organization Setup**
   * If you're the first user from your organization, you'll be prompted to set up your organization
   * Enter your organization details:
     * Organization Name
     * Industry
     * Size
     * Logo (optional)

## Next Steps

After completing the account creation process, you're ready to start using Flowbotic:

## Troubleshooting Account Creation

If you encounter any issues during the account creation process:

* **Email Not Received**: Wait 5-10 minutes and check spam folders. Use the "Resend Verification Email" option on the login page.
* **Password Requirements**: Ensure your password meets the minimum requirements (8+ characters, mix of letters, numbers, and symbols).
* **Browser Issues**: Try using a different browser or clearing your cache and cookies.
